SILTEQ compounds

The UK’s number one independent silicone and fluorosilicone compound manufacturer

SILTEQ specialise in the manufacture of custom made silicone and fluorosilicone compounds for use within moulding, extrusion, calendering and hose manufacturing applications.

In recent years SILTEQ compounding has seen a significant increase in the amount of compounds produced. It has also seen significant investment in mixing equipment which has had a positive impact on the total volume output. With vast knowledge in this area SILTEQ compounds are formulated to suit customers’ specific requirements. We manufacture a full range of silicone compounds developed for different applications in hardnesses from 10 – 90 IRHD. We can also formulate compounds to meet your specific requirements.

Specifications

SILTEQ can develop tailor made compounds which meet industry specific criteria such as UL 94 V-0, BS 6853, NFF16-101, USP Class VI, MIL R 25988 and SAE J 20 to name a few. Challenge us to meet your specifications. Please send your criteria to sales@silteq.com and we shall respond quickly with an offer you will be more than happy with. Silicone’s vital role in developing electronics

Silicone allows the development of electronic devices that are easier to use, more powerful, more versatile and more cost-effective. Without silicone, many of the electric innovations we take for granted probably wouldn’t exist.

Compound-Side1

Silicone compound operating temperatures can range from -110°C to +300°C with very little difference in physical performance!

Silicone compounds can be filled with a vast range of additives to alter the physical performance in many ways.

Silicone can be either electrically insulating or conductive and its hardness can vary from 10 to 90 IRHD.
